Our retirement home for Circus horses
In 1938, Carl Krone bought a 12-hectare piece of land near Munich.
On this - concerning the landscape - magnificent area he built the stud-farm Wessling.
Today, the senior horses from the kingdom of the manège have their retirement home here.
At the moment seven horses between the ages of 20 and 29 and two mini-horses with a
stately age of 26 are living on the stud-farm. Spacious single boxes, measuring 4 x 4
metres and big paddocks are available to them. A special washing facility has been built,
the watering-places are heatable and the food supply is controlled via two big silos.

lavishes care and
attention on the horses.
They're trained a little
on every day to give
them an autumn of life
as beautiful as
possible.

Soon, the building of a indoor riding school, will be on the schedule to
provide the stud-farm Wessling with the possibility to give riding lessons
and to build a retirement home for horses. Further on, young horses are
to be coached for the Haute École at Circus.
The stud-farm Wessling - a new home for young and old horses.
