Animal keeping at Circus Krone

All animals of Circus Krone are receiving the best possible care, pre-selected good food, optimal medical care by veterinarians and blacksmiths and -last but not least- permanent words of comfort and encouragement by animal trainer and keeper. This is also certified by medical veterinary officers while their regular examinations. Animals grown up in the zoo or circus are accustomed to the man since their early days and familiar with a special keeping / care in spite of a "habitat-moulding"

At detailed observation of the Animals one finds numerous symptoms of their
well-being: Animals rest or doze in eased posture, do extensive personal hygiene,
play alone or with Animals of the same species, devote themselves to the eating
without haste, and show impressing and marking behaviours etc.

Because of the cooperation of well-known Animal Psychologists, Animal trainers, zoo and
circus executive directors, extensive cognitions on the keeping of animals in the Circus have
been written down. These guidelines offer now an objective base on the keeping of
animals in the Circus and allow a clear closed-loop control of the legal regulations.

Circus Krone proves newly on every single day that a species-pleasant keeping of animals
is possible. Everyone of good will can inform himself about keeping and dressage of animals at
Krone in the context of the Krone Zoo and convince himself of the coherence of our arguments.
