The Rothschild giraffe was born in an English zoo in September, 1997.

Nobody else has a higher carriage here The

constructed
especially
for the
giraffe
"Juma,"
can be
raised to
"giraffe-
height"
by means
of four
hydraulic
cylinders.
 I love it also outside, if the weather is fine
The transport waggon is heated and offers much room together with the large
outside enclosure for the amply available play instinct of "Juma".

"Juma" shall grow still firmly. It becomes a great guy with that.
"To become a great guy", plenty of protein and high-energy food is announced.
Besides to hay and straw, therefore it needs much fresh food,
much lucerne and still more rolled oats.
