Hippopotamus Poppäa

As strict vegetarian she eats only best hay and straw, fresh carrots and green
salad, apples, celery, allium, onions and garlic. In short everything, that keeps
her healthy and fit - and our Poppäa has never taken care around bad breath.
Of course I've also an outer enclosure of my own at Circus Krone

Not everybody has an own Swimming pool.
The water in Poppäa's pool is kept at a
constant temperature of 20° centigrade.
 A special
carriage
with a
20,000-litre
swimming
pool has been
specially built
for our
hippopotamus
lady "Poppäa".

If it becomes to hot, it goes into the pool.

Of course I've also an outer enclosure of my own at Circus Krone
In addition a spacious outer enclosure is available to our "stout queen".

Only the best food for Popaea. So it is written in my contract ! One
of the
reasons
for the
enormous
sums
which
Krone
pays
daily
for
animal
food
is this
soft
little
mouth.
