With good humour and Bavarian charm Ottfried Fischer as circus executive director leaded through the programme of the great AZ-Gala for one night. For him a dearest wish had became true: "Only once circus director outside of the family". Knowing the contact to the "big shots" very well, as disrespectful "Bulle von Tölz", he just searched for known faces under the circus dome,  He welcomed Roman Herzog with the words:  "I am the circus executive director here and you are the circus executive director of whole Germany"  and thus he took not only the head of state to the laughter.
