A FLYING TRAPEZE WITHOUT A NET
AND MANY HORSE-BEAUTIES
All good things are three. For the third and the last time in these winter playtime
(from March 5 to April 7) the traditional Munich circus shows a new circus
program in the Kronebau on the Marsstraße, with 20 artists from 6 nations.
During 50 performances they want to present you all the aspects of classic
and modern circus art.
For the first time in circus history a flying trapeze without a net
will be presented, during which the artists will fly through the air like birds.
Five beautiful mane lions will make you feel the breath of the predator,
two aesthetes conquer the artistic paradise on their hands, and an
equilibrium artist enchants with his fantastic body arts. Russian perfection,
English originality and French charm combine to a circus enjoyment
of a very special sort.
And the smell of sawdust becomes even stronger.
Because next to the 20 two legged,
this time also 58 four legged artists have arrived:
the complete stable of the French national circus Alexis Gruss.
Beautiful stallions, intelligent pony's, thick skinned elephants, camels,
donkeys, lamas and much more want to enchant and indulge you with their tricks,
true to the motto of the month March: MAGIC IN THE MANÈGE.

Graciously she climbs the little round platform on the back of the mighty Boulonnais and with the elements ballet and artistic she creates a small piece of art. In perfect symmetry they present a 'mirrored entrance' on horse- backs which hardly is to overbid concerning beauty and aesthetic. The two achal-tekkiner ASMARAL and ALADIN love the applause and proof their horse strength hoof to hoof with the most wonderfully figures of classical trained riding. |

With sparkling youth the PS-amazone presents another great act
of the Cirque équestre. She is probably the only woman
who -standing on two galloping Friesian- can control
15 arabian stallions(!). Strong "weak" genus.
With an allez-hopp and a lot of galloping she
wins the harts of the audience just like that.

| She barely stands with here feet on the ground. But she fulfils with them what other can hardly do with their hands: juggling par excellence. A touch of erotic fills the manège when Stephan Gruss his wife swirls tubes, cannonballs and fire crosses through the air with her well-shaped legs. Playful she swings them up and makes them go around. Watching this "baroness of balance" is an aesthetic pleasure. |

As if the manège were a gravity free room, this handstand aesthete shows body-control and body-art in purity. As well on the risingtrapeze as on the back of a Boulonnesian stallion he bows following the entire circus art rules. Seemingly effortless he forms his well-trained body into smooth figures and sculptures like no one has ever seen before. |

Pins, arrows and axes were the weapons of the ancient wars. Nowadays, to transform them into peaceful parts was a remarkable challenge to Gispy's and Alexis oldest son. In his hands they arise again and fly spirited through time and space - and that on the back of a galloping horse. The never ending throwing and catching becomes a double virtuous balance act |
