SVETLANA BELOVA (Russia / in Munich for the first time) Under water phantasies

A snake couldn't be more lithe. In blue underwater light an ancient circus art revives and shows a miracle of Kautshuk artistic. Like rubber, rousing beautiful and extremely supple sea star sways with its tangling arm in a rough see like flowers in the wind. Seemingly free of movement limiting bones the graceful body gets knotted, tangled and twisted. Supported by a fabulous choreography and the scale like costume, pictures of explicit beauty arise. This magic of the ocean no one can escape.

What the Russian star artist Svetlana Belova here shows bounds to body
magic and abolishes all known anatomical laws. Just two years ago the
deep-sea fantasy "Sea Star" was designed as a hymn to the human
body. Perfection and perseverance have become a second nature
of the freshly chosen "Circus princess 2001".

ROSI HOCHEGGER (Germany / in Munich for the first time) Pippi Langstrumpf and her bedhorse

Pipi Langstrumpf comes straight from the fairytale country and she not coming alone. Her loyal companion is the "little uncle", an born appaloosa and lively manège pro. Not only can her best friend laugh and say no, he can also kiss, make deep bows, cuddle into the bed and pull the blanket over his ears. A real smart hoof actor that opens all his registers of his great comedian capabilities and that is his own biggest fan. He fills the manège with laughter and soon becomes the darling of the audience, small and big.

Looking at this horse comedy, no one will probably guess how much time and loving patience Rosi Hochegger invested to bring her manège partner to this level. Even her father knew how to handle pets' manège like. Her extravagant show ideas therefore can be explained by family-tradition.

Nowadays one can hardly imagine a more intensive and profound
friendship between human and animal. Outside the manège this
top trained four-legged still follows her on every step she makes.

TROUPE SARATCH (Russia / in Munich for the first time) Balance-acts on the high perche

The creme de la creme of Russian creativity. Alexei Saratch, the vision full chief of the troop, invented variations on the Perche artistic, like never seen before. As where the manège free of gravitation, nine exceptional artists climb, balance and swing in a breathtaking high on meter high poles. Unbelievable original tricks have names like "two falling couples" or "swinging rope between couples". After an idea of Christel Sembach-Krone, the Krone dancers were arranged
by no one less then GEEN REED. For a long time the famous choreograph and
dancer has been responsible for the great Krone show ballet in the summer.
For the first time now it is in the Munich Krone building.

CHRISTEL SEMBACH-KRONE (Germany) Rhythm, horses and folklority a hippologic potpourri in three colors

36 feet step to the rhythm of the music and request an answer.
68 hoofs counter in a thundering staccato.
In an exclusive manège surprise the mistress of the house presents
her horse show as an equestrian answer to "Lord of the Dance".

To the exciting sounds of Irish music she shows a hippo
carrousel with 17 horses in three colours. White as snow Arabian stallions,
black as the night Friesians and gold-like palominos dance in the circus round
to filigree choreography, accompanied by the colourful Krone ballet.
Pictures filled with temperamental beauty and poetry arise. Music and light,
colours and sounds, imposing radiation of power and impressive steps combine
to a "feast of the senses". Here manège dreams become alive and stallions become
true dream dancers in the red ring. Fascinated the circus friend recognises how
much the Irish music was influenced by the natural rhythm of horses.

EVY ALTHOFF (Austria / in Munich for the first time) Dangerous and beautyfull - Evy's tiger

A "diva in the central cage" celebrates her great performance after the break. The lady-like as usual calmly presents nine beautiful Siberian tigers. The black-yellow striped muscle packages follow her instructions and show their amazing capabilities with lots of paw power: Sit-up, waltz, hop, jump and pyramid building. In a jungle gallop they tiger through the central cage and willingly mutate to little cuddly cats and heart-filling pussycats.

The secret of their success is: love, time, patience, pride and an unknown confidence between
human and animal. But despite of all her love she never forgets: they are and will stay predators.
She knows the risk by experience: a 5-cm long scar on her head proofs she once was very lucky.
The Vienna by birth stood for many years successful in the spotlight. She rode the "High School",
demonstrated free horses was with her "tigers to horses" for years the celebrated star at Ringling
Bros, 3Barnum & Bailey. Now she "sun bathes" for a month in her applause.

MARINA OSINSKAYA (Russia / in Munich for the first time) A primaballerina on the high wire

Elegance on the wire. Merely armed with a fan she works at 6 meters high with sleep- walking confidence. Concentrated up until her ballet shoe tips she shows variations on classical dance art up until tip-toe dance and split. She not easily brought out of balance. An only 16-mm thin metal wire is enough, to make her feel secure. She used to be a dancer, before she committed to transform her balance capabilities into a height experience. With a winning smile she masterful knows how to hide the dangers and efforts of her dangerous occupation from the audience. The "dance queen" from Russia just knows, how to fascinate. With her well-shaped legs she is on the wire straight way to the top.

Light handed she presents three heavy weight glamour girls from Krones famous elephant herd: The India beauties BARA, MALA and BURMA. In a harmonic combination of strength and elegance these animal mulit-talents show parts of their impressive capabilities and glamour with an enchanting manège act. Lightfooted and surprisingly charming they show 'heavy weight' balance acts. No handstand is to hard for them, no headstand to difficult, to succesful withstand the prejudice of just beeing the 'Muscle man of the animal kingdom'. With perfected bodycontrol and lots of trunktip feeling they cheer up circus friends of all different ages and always show themselves in a perfect spotlight, and that with a provable total of 9.300 collosal kilograms. But their overwelming star appeal covers all of that.

The young south-africans jump onto the trapeze and proof themselves to be all round artists in every way of the word. Everything turns, everything moves. Lets hope their total fatal escapades stay without bruises. The urge of so much falling down is not given. A lot of training and an iron will these talented youngsters of the ZipZap circus school had to invest, for now to earn the most valuable reward for an artist. The applause from an content audience. SERGEI IGNATOV (Russia / in Munich for the first time) Special kind juggling acts

He is an absolutely top class juggler and a wanted star
in the international manège. With virtuoso speed he makes
pins swing, rings twirl and balls dance, as if there was nothing easier than that.

Inventive he makes them live again and whirls them trough time and space- unless gravity plays tricks on him. He really has his hands full. But it takes 9 rings to make him go to "full speed". The true "Lord of the rings" origins from Russia and juggling has is well know all over the world thanks to tempo ballads. He device is "practice, practice, practice". Only that way one reaches perfect coordination, raging ease and absolute precision that distinguishes a true master of juggling. For a month he is all yours. PJÖNGYANG-TROUPE (North-Korea / in Munich for the first time) The sensation from north-korea: a springboard and a Russian swing

Again an artistic world sensation joins Munich from the
North-Korean state circus. The combination of sling board and
Russian swing enables building high jumps and gives the actors Asian wings.

Saults, pirouettes en multiple twists cascade at high pace, fantastic secure stands on huge human pyramids. Perfect timing and surprising reflexes distinguishes the heroes of the manège, who fly higher into the circus sky with their saults than anyone before. Out of competition is the catapult jump on 6 man high. And with Sin un Sop they posses the
only artist in the world that dares to make a 6 time pirouette from the sling board. With their

atmosphere among the audience.
They directly come from the Monte-Carlo 2002 international circus festival,
where they received the desired SILVER CLOWN.
