The Munich tradition
circus will present
from 2nd to 28th
February a fully new
program with inter-
national highlights
from around the world.
Circus Krone in the
Bavarian state capital,
proudly presents 34
artists from 10 nations
who dedicate themselves
to the highest level
of circus artistry.

Embodying the enticing slogan "Circus Show of Sensations" the second winter program
of Circus Krone awaits you with fireworks of artistic highlights and circus superlatives in
the manège round. Splendid animal acts, fascinating acrobatic artistry and marvelous
clowns with joyful personalities. Thirty - four radiating heroes of the circus world and
numerous animal star guests are awaiting your arrival. They offer you 150 minutes of
astonishment and joy - truly a circus with heart, style and magical moments in the manège.

We are again particularly proud to present Circus Krone's star lion trainer, Martin Lacey Jr.
and the unique white lion, King Tonga. They were recently awarded the golden clown, the
"Oscar" of the circus world. In February 2004, we first presented the then 16-month lion
cub as he was undergoing his first training sessions under the spotlights of the manège.
In the meantime, Circus Krone's unique white beauty has developed into a stately
lion with a magnificent mane. His impressive skills in the manège will amaze you.

assumed the task of making public announcements
and the duties as ringmaster. He announces the
various performances and offers other information
to ensure smooth operational sequence.

sensations with charm and
elegance - and a number of other
music instruments, to include
accordion, clarinet, trumpet,
guitar and bottle xylophone -
everything is magnificently
played with a eye to fascination.

TROUPE MAYOROV
(Russia, Belorussia, Ukraine / first time in Munich)

They entertain as hilarious acrobats underway on a sea cruise. A merry sea cruise
at that, as these amusing sailors are involved in a journey across Neptune's domain.
Their aquatic engagement up, over and through "oversized" life savers offers
delightful situation comedy under the "able" navigation of captain Mayorov.
Wonderful slapstick and skillful, acrobatic artistry goes hand in hand.
Witness cascade after cascade of tumbling, leaps and often breathtaking stunts.

Faster than the rescue swimmers allow, comedic chaos envelops the manege,
paired with original pantomime, which takes no consideration for the laugh
muscles of the circus visitors.

OLANDAR
(Russia / first time in Munich)

|
Olandar appears with nine cuddly white angora beauties.
The trained "Aristocrats" climb, jump and balance in a sterling display
of agility and obedience. It is a true joy to watch the talented cats in action.
Skillfully, they prove there is high artistic potential among house cats. On elegant velvet
paws, affectionately presented, they prove they can do substantially more than present
their paws to humans: PARIS, MARS, MAXIMUS, GUADALUPE, SHEBA, CHUDO,
RIKI and SAVA can ride a unicycle and juggle, while KNOPA springs from a five-meter
high bar into the arms of their master.
All of this happens, because it is joy for them perform.
It is after all, very difficult to train cats.

ALEX TRAISCI

He allows himself to be
surrounded by "trained"
tires. How he commands
the tires remains a secret.
As if they were following
an invisible magnetic force,
they circle bodies and the
manege ring with fascinating
precision. They form
impressive figures in the
circus arena and all nine
park themselves to close
out the performance
They demonstrate not
only balls and clubs, but
tires can be perfectly juggled.

James Puydebois proudly presents Trio Gigantale in the manege. The heavyweight,
COLONEL JOE graces the ring with his 7 tons of animated weight. He is 3.50 meter
tall and possesses 1.80 meters of snow-white tusks. With perfect execution and a
radiant aura, he places the public under his spell from the first moment. He circumvents
the manege with MALA and SANDRINE one lap of honor after the other, he lies down,
ascents and builds pyramids. Yes, he CAN. The largest Indian elephant bull of the
world, up close and personal, directed by animal pedagogue, James Puydebois.

They are perfect musical clowns, as one seldom encounters.
A noble white clown and a not so bright jokester in a contest to determine who can
create the most beautiful music and the best gags in the manege round.
Skillfully, they captivate the public with their "strings of laughter".

ZHANG FAN

Zhang Fan embodies world-class artistry on the slack line.
Performing splits on the 12 mm thicken rope is one of his easier exercises.
Unimpressed and uninfluenced by the laws of gravity he performs handstands,
balanced on ladder, "breathtaking unicycle stunts" and thrills the audience, performing
wild swings. Displaying unsurpassed acrobatic command, the 20-year-old elite
acrobat from Wuhan performs on the slack line and presents his artistic
feats with charm and charisma.

DUO GARCIA

The artistic pair presents an adventure in outer reaches of the galaxy.
Like aliens from a distant star, they start and land they start their space rocket
and undertake daring risks as they balance on the rotary rocket chair at dizzy heights.

acrobats with the space-age.
Their jumps, saltos and lightning
fast vaults leave the impression
of complete weightlessness and
with their unique feat - the rotary
"Zahnhang" at a height of 12
meters, set for the nerve wracking
highlight and conclusion of the show.

beauties fly according to all rules enthrall the circus attendees with their aerial artistry.

Jiyandori, create fascinating images in the manège sky light and present an aerial
artistry of elegant harmony.

FRATELLI GIONA

| Horses in glorious freedom |
|
Equestrian performance in perfect harmony between humans and animal. Without a whip,
without a saddle, without bridle the snow-white Arabian stallions of Alex Giona are displayed.
Riding bareback on a grey horse, he gradually assemblies six additional Horses in
a constantly running fan around himself. He accomplishes all this without the usual
accompaniments, displaying the animals in their natural beauty.
He has only a white peacock feather to direct the horses.
As veritable Minotaur, the gentle horse whisperer directs his stable in an
equestrian interplay full of grace, beauty and elegance.
He was awarded in 2009 the Silver Clown and six additional special prizes,
among them the prize as the public's choice.

Musical merriment is their profession and their calling. Father and grandfather Rossi laid
the foundation for this family of clowns who have traveled throughout Europe bringing joy
to thousands of circus aficionados. Yann and Hector Rossi proudly represent this
famous Italian - French clown family now in its third generation.
