Krone-Zoo in SummerDoes a visit behind the scenes of Europe's largest circus sound appealing? That caneasily be arranged. The Krone zoo is open to the public on all performance days from 10.00 am. Three big stall tents (elephants, exotic animals, horses) with more than 200 animals from five continents await your visit. Public dressage training takes place every morning in the manege. Simultaneously, one can observe: the feeding, cleaning, washing and the preparation of the animals for their performances.
Our open house policy makes it possible. Included: the spacious exterior and open enclosures, sand boxes for the pachyderms, and rubber balls for the lions included. For the lions and female hippo Poppäa a built in swimming pool. Sights include the 330 mobile homes, luggage and equipment wagons, kitchen, school, fire-brigade, power station and workshops of all kinds (carpenter's workshop, locksmith, upholstery department, auto workshops, ladies and men's tailor). Circus Krone is not only Europe's largest, but also the only circus in the world with rest room facilities for handicapped persons.
